Greg hails from the amorphous coloquialism that is upstate New York. His formative years found him tucking into life in the more northerly Adirondacks. The allure and subsequent trials of building and woodworking led him to opportunity as a timber framing apprentice at the storied Heartwood School in the Berkshires. In the decade-plus since, he has worked on a variety of projects ranging from building-science-laden new construction to hand-tool-rich restoration work. When not making heaps of wood detritus, he enjoys time with his wife and kids in the forests, waters, and on their endearingly scrappy homestead.
