This timber framed pavilion lives in a community garden on the lower east side of Manhattan. A clerestory roof design following cardinal directions accommodates a living roof on the north pitch and solar panels on the south. White pine timbers logged by draft horse. Scribed cherry knee braces featured in the center bent joinery. Designed in-house and in collaboration with Andrea Warchaizer.
